About Bethany
I have been a fitness professional since graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Kinesiology and a concentration in Exercise Science. I hold a variety of training certifications which include: Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, a Certified TRX Instructor, a STOTT Trained Pilates Instructor, & a Certified Aligned Meditation & Psychology Teacher. I am now incorporating positive mindset frameworks/meditation within my coaching practice. I have extensive experience with all avenues of fitness and wellness including private training sessions, small group training sessions, corporate wellness programs, Pilates mat/reformer sessions, and wellness coaching. I am also a Certified Peer Advocate and am able to assist in times of crisis.
I have experience in fitness studio start-up (helped with the start-up and launch of 3 others before my own) and management, training program design, as well as training in studio, in-home, virtual, and community settings. Currently all of my coaching options are done remotely. My goal is to help you make fitness and well-being a part of your EVERYDAY LIFE!
After my own struggles of dealing with severe stress and burnout, I’ve decided that I will never let my own health go downhill again. Let me show you how to keep burnout away so you can stay healthy and fit and continue excelling in your career and personal life.
I also have coached cross country athletes, helped clients get stronger after car accidents, to even helping client’s complete hikes over 500 miles- including the El Camino de Santiago Trail. I have worked with middle school cross country athletes up to those 80+ years of age!
On a personal level, I keep my mind and body in sync through my love of running (completed 4 50k ultramarathons, 10 marathons, & 16 half marathons), weekly strength training, and Pilates Mat/Reformer workouts.
I am currently still active and do various types of workouts every week in addition to running.

Paris Marathon Medal 2026
Just after I crossed the finish line of the Paris Marathon! We had to carry our own water bottle or wear a hydration vest as they did not have cups at aid station for hydrating during the race. I was also 1 out of 57, 464 finishers of this marathon!
Pictures above are from races I have finished in 2025. Races include: my 9th marathon, my 15th half marathon, and my 2nd 50k ultramarathon!
The newest pictures added are from the Paris Marathon, which I ran as a member of the NoStigmas charity race team and finished on Sunday, April 12th, 2026. This was my first international race and 10th marathon!
